Rebates

We offer rebates on water heaters, air-source heat pumps, and geothermal heat pumps. On-demand
(tank less) water heaters are not eligible for rebates. Listed below are the requirements for each
type of rebate:

Water Heaters: Rebates are $100 for standard water heaters and $150 for lifetime water heaters.
Water heaters must be at least 40 gallons capacity. We need proof of purchase, manufacturer name,
warranty term, and capacity. Lastly, we need to know if the water heater is a replacement for a
non-electric water heater, installation in new construction, or replacement of an existing electric
water heater.

Air-Source Heat Pumps: The minimum requirements for an air-source heat pump is that the heat pump
be Energy Star certified and have a minimum SEER  (seasonal energy efficiency ratio) of 14.5. We
need proof of purchase, manufacturer name, model number, tonnage, SEER rating, HSPF (heating
seasonal performance factor) rating, and warranty term. Last thing, is unit replacing non- electric
heating/cooling system, installation in new construction, or replacing electric heating/cooling
system.
Rebates on air-source heat pumps are graduated depending upon SEER rating:
$50 per half-ton for 14.5 SEER

$75 per half-ton for 16 SEER
$100 per half-ton for 17 SEER and above

Geothermal Heat Pumps: Geothermal heat pump rebates are $125 per half-ton. We need proof of
purchase, manufacturers name, model number, tonnage, COP (coefficient of performance), EER (energy
efficiency ratio), and warranty term. We need to know if the geothermal loop uses a closed or open
loop system, (closed is more common). Lastly, is unit replacing non-electric heating/cooling
system, installation in new construction, or replacing electric heating/cooling system.
